About the Project
Project Goals
- Update the design to match the new brand and brand style: The main focus was to revamp the design elements and aesthetics of Stephenson House’s interior design offerings to ensure they harmonized seamlessly with the company’s refreshed brand identity and style.
- Simplify the user experience and navigation: Enhance the overall user experience by making it more user-friendly and intuitive.
- Enhance conversion tracking in Google Analytics: Implement more effective tracking methods within Google Analytics to gain deeper insights into user interactions and behaviors.
- Integrate a CRM (Customer Relationship Management System): Integration of a CRM system to streamline customer relationship management. This allowed Stephenson House to efficiently organize client data, track interactions, and better engage with both existing and potential customers.
- Integrate a Shopify e-commerce store in a later phase: In a subsequent phase of the project, the goal was to incorporate a Shopify e-commerce store into the platform. This expansion allowed Stephenson House to directly sell products or services through their website, providing an additional avenue for revenue and customer engagement.
Our solution
To achieve these goals, we collaborated closely with Katie on both the design and content aspects of the project. This partnership allowed us to ensure that the visual elements and aesthetics aligned perfectly with the new brand identity and style. Simultaneously, we fine-tuned the content to create a cohesive and engaging user experience, helping Stephenson House fulfill its objectives effectively.
To implement the design and enable seamless content management by Katie and her team, we opted for WordPress along with Elementor. This choice provided a user-friendly and flexible platform for designing and maintaining the website, empowering them to make effortless content edits whenever needed.
We integrated the website with Campaign Monitor and configured Google Analytics to enhance the tracking of conversions, particularly on Katie’s signup forms. This integration allowed for more precise measurement of user interactions and signups, providing valuable insights to optimize her marketing efforts effectively.
Several months later, we continued our collaboration with Katie’s team to customize and set up their Shopify store. This strategic addition expanded Stephenson House’s online capabilities, enabling them to offer products and services directly through their e-commerce platform, providing a seamless shopping experience for their customers.
The Result
The result was a more cohesive website and user experience, complemented by improved SEO performance and enhanced conversion tracking.
Shortly after the launch, Stephenson House experienced a significant increase in their Search Engine Results Page (SERP) ranking, jumping from 16th place to the impressive 4th position for the term “edmonton interior designers”.
